'What is Real' is The Rivers friendship and musical connection. Such fun to get out, play again and especially working on the EP production ourselves.

We have refined the sound and this time around have been able to represent a band moving forward in sonic force and emotive sounds.

A chance meeting of Stu Wilson (drums/guitar/backing vocals/keys) and Sienna Egan (lead vocal) lead to laying down some vocals, then idea of a band took shape.
Andy Newman (bass) and Marko Simec (keys/percussion/backing vocals) joined, and with Rupert Reid (lead guitar), The Rivers started to flow.
Elemental of blues, rock, jazz, country and soul, the Rivers have created their own eclectic sound. ... more
